So you're interested in joining Fire Valley? Great! We'd be honored to have any member join us. So in addition, here are some things that will help you get started both in joining the forum and roleplay.
Joining Fire Valley
To join our website, please be sure to read the Rules & Guidelines before anything else. If you agree to our terms and are willing to obey them, then you're ready to continue! If have not posted an application form on our WolfQuest Pack Thread, you'll have to apply on the site in the thread Membership Application. Please be sure to note that the membership application is for user accounts only, not character registration.
Once you've applied for membership, please wait for a staff member (Staff will have a bright red or orange name) to accept you in. This shouldn't take longer than 3 hours, but if you're impatient to get started you may edit your application post and tag one of the staff.
Character Creation & Registration
Once your account has been approved by the staff, you're ready to create and/or register your character! You must fill out the character registration form each time you bring one in, this goes for everyone in the site.
To register a character, go to Character Registration & Adoption and fill out the form there. You must wait for a staff member to accept your characters, like membership application this shouldn't take long, but feel free to tag a staff member if need be. Do Not post a character biography or roleplay them until they are accepted.
All characters here must be semi-realistic, as you have read in the rules, we do not allow neon colored fur or unrealistic eye colors, however you can have unrealistic eyes along with heterochromia. Accessories like feathers, flowers, small bones, ect. are allowed as well. If you feel an accessory is too extensive or unsure, please contact a staff member.
In continuation, unrealistic height is not allowed without reason and later effects, for example: If your wolf exceeds 3 foot 5 inch at the shoulder, or is under 2 foot 0, they must either have gigantism or dwarfism, along with yhe probable effects. Gigantic wolves often have early arthritis that can start at the age of 5 years of age, they won't be as flexible, speed and stamina would be low, and it may cause problems during hunting. While being smaller than average could be due to inbreeding, they could have genetic issues, bad joints, and have issues with hunting and combat as well. It all depends on the character, but nobody can be perfect!
Once you have noted all this and your registration is accepted, its time to create a biography. A characters biography is very essential for roleplay, and you must have one posted before playing your character. A biography doesn't have to be very detailed or well coded, just be sure to add the basics like your characters name, age, rank, appearance, and personality, preferably with at least some of their history as well, but thats not as necessary.
With your character registered and their biography up, you're ready to join the roleplay! You can put your character anywhere, but be sure to note that they will not automatically be in the pack unless they are one of the first 10 characters to be registered, if they're not they will have to be accepted into the pack In Character.
