These rules are important to help you understand the basic works of this forum, please be sure to read everything before anything else.
Rules are subject to change, staff will mention if they do.
If you have read and understood all of these rules as well as the wolf rules, it's time to create your character! Go to the character application board and post there for each character application.

Forum Rules
- Be respectful to all members on and off the site. Bullying of any sort will not be tolerated.
- Keep things relatively appropriate. Links/pictures/references to graphic or pornographic material are not allowed.
- Please refrain from posting in information threads, such as Rules & Guidelines, How To Begin, History of Fire Valley, ect.
- No god-modding, power-playing, OP characters, mary sues, etc. Have common sense and courtesy when creating characters and roleplaying.
- Try to be active and check in monthly. The more active you are, the more likely you'll be to get plots and character development. We will also have monthly activity checks.
- Swearing is allowed on the site and discord, but be sure to use it wisely. Using swears to target or harm someone is not permitted, and abuse of this privilege will lead to a ban.
- All posts on the website should contain at least two words in order to not be considered spam. The exception is in the off topic threads.
- Text chat is fine, as long as we can understand you.
- Touchy subjects such as religion and politics should be avoided or at least handled maturely. Remember to respect everyone's viewpoints.
- The only places you may double post is in the trackers, development boards, your own art thread, your own character biography thread (to inform members about updates/changes/etc.), or a game thread if so permitted.
- Please make an effort to make at least one detailed post in the roleplay each week. We accept all levels of roleplayers, but there is a three sentence minimum.
- Each player should only have one account. If your account was deleted or disabled due to inactivity, you may create a new one and rejoin the pack.
- If you are going to be away/busy for a long period of time, please notify us by creating a thread in the Absence Board.
- If you see someone breaking the rules, do not try and handle the situation yourself. Take a screenshot of the problem and PM it to a staff member (either admin or mod.), and wait for them to take care of the issue.
Chatbox Rules
- No roleplay should take place in the chatbox.
- Images are allowed, but please do not spam them or send massive ones.
- Try not to spam links.
- Keep personal quarrels out of the chatbox. Those matters should be handled through PM.
- If you see anyone being harmful in the chatbox, please take a screenshot and send it to a staff member.
Roleplay Rules
- Players can start with up to 10 adult wolves, pups will only be born in spring IC, and then roleplayed however long you like. Pups will grow up and eventually become adults at 2 years of age, but until then they will act like pups and then teenagers.
- This is a semi-realistic roleplay. Please try to stick to the setting and some amounts of realistic wolf behavior.
- Wolves can be mates, but no sexual roleplay will be allowed. Mates can be affectionate and have a good relationship, and we do allow some suggestiveness, but a mating thread must fade to black before anything too inappropriate is played.
- To roleplay, individual threads will be made for each small plotline. This is called Liquid Roleplay. Make sure your threads are in the right location board. Once a thread's plot is done, request a staff member to lock the thread. If a plotline moves to a new location, request the thread to be locked and make a new thread in the new location to continue the plot. For example, if your characters decide to go hunting in the rocks around Bighorn Cliffs, make a thread in Bighorn Cliffs called "Hunting Party" or whatever title you think of. Once the hunt is done and all the wolves eat, have a staff lock the thread.
Character Creation
- No unrealistic fur colors, like neons, blues, purples, sparkles, polkadots, stripes ect. We do allow some markings, but nothing too unrealistic. If you are unsure please ask a staff member.
- No Mary Sue's or Gary Sue's, in other words perfect characters or characters no one can defeat.
- We suggest to avoid characters over 3 foot 8 inch and weighing over 200 pounds, while we do allow some gigantism all characters must have some weaknesses and effects to their abilities, this goes to dwarfism as well.
- Please keep unrealistic eye colors to a minimum, we do allow blue, green, and red eyes, along with the carried realistic wolf colors and heterochromia, but colors like pink and purple should generally be avoided.
