These are the traditions of the Fire Valley pack, and it's encouraged that they're carried on.
The Sun Celebration
Each year as summer begins, the wolves of Fire Valley gather together at (hill name here) Hill to soak in the sun and mainly enjoy the warmth and pleasure. Sometimes wolves will bring food to share with others, and sometimes others will bring interesting items to give out, such as bird feathers, flowers, or horns.
The pack is supposed to gather at Name Hill before the sun reaches it's highest point in the sky, and when it does everyone throws their heads back and howls, singing to the sun in their wolfish way.
This event is happens once each summer, your character can only participate once each roleplay year in a single thread.
Your character can occasionally get items from the event, if another character gives them to yours.
The Winter Celebration
Each year on the first snow fall, the pack gathers together in the den site and huddles against each other for warmth. It is usually a more relaxed, quiet event, but it's important to the pack as it can help relationships between members and brings everyone closer.
In this event, its essential that pups are always on the inside of the group, so as they stay warm.
Not every member has to participate in this event, but it is encouraged and those who do not show up may be searched out by the Seekers.
Story of the Great Fight
When pups reach 3 months of age, they are herded together by the adults and sat down in a group, an Elder or other wolf will tell them the story of the Great Fight of Redbud River. It's important the pups learn the history of their pack, the story also says that loyalty and peace is always the best way of life.
Some pups, if they're sneaky enough, can get out of this small event under the noses of the adults.
Autumn Clean-Out
In Autumn each year, it's encouraged the pack wolves clean out their dens and homes thoroughly, taking out any old bedding or decorations. This is simply for cleanliness and for a fresh start before the winter hits. It's always best to switch out old bedding as new will hold warmth better.
Ranking Ceremony
When the pups of Fire Valley reach one year of age, they are brought together for one very important event, when they are all assigned the apprentice level of their desired ranks. This is a big step for them, like a graduation.
It's recommended that a pups guardians show at this event.
